What to Expect

South Bay is a contemporary style church with families at our heart.

A friendly place where you are always welcome. A place where our music is upbeat and meaningful, led by a worship team and praise band that will move you to clap your hands. A place where the message does not condemn you …instead identifies with you and helps you to apply the truth of the Bible to your everyday life.  A place where children can have fun and still learn what the Bible teaches in a safe and loving environment.  A place where every age group is welcome, no matter how old or how young you are!   South Bay is a community church identifying with the lifestyles of the families of South Hillsborough County.

South Bay's worship services are a blend of contemporary and traditional music along with insightful teaching from the Word of God. Our services normally last approximately 80 minutes.

What do you have for kids?

At South Bay Church, your kids are very important to us. South Bay kids offers care and teaching for children from birth through the fifth grade. Your kids will experience life-change through small groups led by adult leaders and a large group environment that includes praise and worship, interactive and creative Bible stories, games and activities and much more! What should I wear?

We know you may be worried about what to wear on your first visit. We invite you to come as you are and be comfortable. For some that means shorts and others it means a jacket and tie.

What if I'm running late...or even early?

No Problem! You can check your kids in until one half hour after the service begins and one of our courteous ushers will help you find a seat. If you're early enough you are welcome to stop by our cafe' for a cup of coffee and a dounut.
